Anna brings 15+ years of experience in molecular biology and microbiology spanning research, teaching, and leadership. She has led technical development and business operations at Ginkgo Bioworks, Warp Drive Bio, and Harvard University's Department of Organismal and Evolutionary Biology. Anna earned her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology in 2007 and was previously an Associate Professor at Shandong Agricultural University. A strong advocate for diversity in STEM, she co-founded Asians in Biotech and serves on the Advisory Board of WEST. She was honored with the WEST Giving Back Award in 2017 for her community contributions.
